Dear friends and members of the ep. Network,

Our Network comprises inventors, entrepreneurs and organizations all over the world – thereby also in Asia, in the region where more than 1.4 million people are affected by the devastating earthquake in Nepal on Saturday. They are in need of food and water, of shelter and medical supply.  The UN and other international humanitarian organizations are starting emergency operations that face huge logistical challenges. The support of many is urgently needed, organizations such as TechSoup published instructions to guide you in "how you can help". Smaller organizations contribute through urgently needed and partly very specific supply; one example is the earthquake emergency response of Kopernik – a friend of the empowering people. Network.

In this ep.Update our thoughts are also with the epN-Members located or operating in Nepal and the affected area, amongst them installations of AIDFIs Ram Pump, the team of Score Stove™2 or The Nexus Center that contributes to water and energy supply in Nepal.

May humanity and technology work hand in hand!
