Dear friends and members of the "empowering people. Network",

One last time in 2015 an update on our network - with an exciting year full of manifold activities behind us. It has been encouraging for us to see intense exchange, new partnerships and even the first peer-to-peer technology transfer from continent to continent within our network.

The international network is growing and has more and more impact to show in terms of successful implementation of solutions on the ground. Not least thanks to new local connections as a result of our epOnsite trainings and our workshops in Latin America and Africa.

2016 will bring new development opportunities for you and your organization, stay tuned for the launch of the SAMforSE, a Self Assessment Manual for Social Entrepreneurs, a new Volunteer exchange program and much more.

Also the “empowering people. Award” is still open and awaits your submissions or nominations until the 15th of January. The shortlist will be presented in summer 2016 and the winners will be seen at the Award Ceremony in autumn.

But for now we are looking forward to Christmas, whatever your plans for this time of the year are - we wish you and your families merry and peaceful days and a happy and healthy New Year!

Have some lovely holidays with your family and loved ones!

Your “empowering people. Network” team
Carola, Beate, Sabine, David and Magdalena
