Dear friends and members of the epNetwork-Community,

Here are the latest news on the “empowering people. Network”. The network’s research program focusses on crucial questions regarding social entrepreneurship and development. After five years of work, Siemens Stiftung and Zeppelin University have finished their study on social entrepreneurship in Kenya, South Africa, Mexico and Colombia and have published the results under the title “Entrepreneurial Solutions for Social Challenges - Lessons from the International Research Network for Social and Economic Empowerment”.

Knowledge is key - our upcoming Bootcamp, a four-week online training on Inclusive Innovation provides another opportunity to boost your skills. We organize it together with the Inclusive Business Accelerator and Engineering for Change, a platform located in the US. The webinar series will start on April 1st - you can still register.

The “empowering people. Network” launched another collaboration with the Practical Impact Alliance (PIA), an Initiative at MIT / D-Lab. The PIA was conceived to maximize value for a multidisciplinary and complementary community of organizations by bringing business, social and academic actors together. Based on the cooperation, some of our Network members will be able to participate in PIA’s Learning groups during the coming months, and the entire Network will benefit from shared knowledge and insights afterwards as well.

Let’s stay in contact,
Your epNetwork team
