“This comes at the perfect time!”

In cooperation with our partner adelphi, we held our third “empowering people. Onsite” on “Market research & customer insights” September 13-16.
This time we were in Bishoftu, Ethiopia to meet network members from the region. After the first day of the workshop, the 19 participants from 7 different African countries already underlined that this kind of training came on a perfect time as their organizations plan to expand.
Comprising three days, the workshop offered a two-fold approach. While in the first sessions a broad introduction into the different market research elements, various methodologies and customer analysis was provided, the epN members in a second part got to exercise a “reality check” of different theoretical claims. Thereby, they got to discover market assumptions and characteristics to then discuss the relevant forces influencing their markets.
Other topics that were treated in the workshop were customer segments, the identification of improvement areas of products or services and the rating of the relevances of key products or service features.
In the interactive sessions that were followed by intensive feedback-rounds, the participants presented their respective customer circles and concentrated on their supposed specific demands and expectations.
Stay tuned about further developments of #epOnsite!
