Why should one apply for the “empowering people. Award”?

June 20, 2012

Applying for the “empowering people. Award” has a range of benefits: Firstly, the nominees will be asked to attend an Awards Ceremony – a perfect opportunity to present their products and solutions to representatives from the world of politics, NGOs, science, media and technology as well possible business partners and investors. Secondly, the Siemens Stiftung has a total of 200,000 EUR at its disposal to be awarded to the best 23 entries. Finalists can see their products or solutions realised where they matter most. With international publicity, the product/solution/inventor(s) will be positioned on a global scale.

Submissions will be entered onto the database which is to act as a source for support in further technical development or best practice exchange. The aim of the platform will be to link up both inventors and implementers.
