Dear friends and members of the epNetwork Community,

After conducting several "empowering people.Onsite" trainings on the African and the Latin American continent is was time for our network to make the next big leap – becoming alive in Asia!

This update is headlined by the news all around our first Onsite training in Indonesia including a storify, a short documentation and more in-depth information about the topic and content in the form of a tutorial video.

The update also features an encouraging story about our network member Katrin Pütz who, despite all obstacles, still proves that biogas can become a sustainable business model operated by locals. As well as an interview with our colleague Dr. Beate Grotehans who talks about the International Research Network for Social and Economic Empowerment, how they worked towards their last publications and how she had to challenge her own perceptions in this process.

Of course, our evaluation team is also busy assessing all entries to the “empowering people. Award” 2015, but that’s a story for the next update.

Stay tuned!

Your empowering people. Network - Team

The epNetwork is alive in Asia!

On March 9-12 the fourth “empowering people. Onsite” took place for the first time in Asia, in Panaruban, Indonesia.

The training focused on “Market Research & Customer Insights” and was carried out with the support from Adelphi and IBEKA.

17 inspiring epNetwork members from 9 different countries came together at our first Asian epOnsite to exchange knowledge and experiences, gain further insights into market and customer relations and connect with fellow entrepreneurs.

Read more about our last epOnsite and get some visual insights on our website and on storify!
