Ladies and Gentlemen,

Dear Friends,

The Siemens Stiftung cordially invites you to an interactive session on

Cultivating an Ecosystem for Social Entrepreneurs – The role of Investors, Researchers and Philanthropy

on Wednesday, November 26th 2014 at 4:30 pm, at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Sala de Congresos, in Mexico City.

The session will start with the impulse presentation of “Understanding the Social Enterprise and Social Investment Landscape in Emerging Markets - Exploratory Insights from a Survey in Colombia, Kenya, Mexico and South Africa”. This Survey was conducted as part of the International Research Network on Social Economic Empowerment (IRENE l SEE), a joint initiative of Siemens Stiftung and Zeppelin University  that supports research work with a strong focus on entrepreneurial solutions for social challenges. The findings of this research project and discussion of the results make a valuable contribution to the “empowering people. Network – Technologies for basic needs”, an initiative founded by Siemens Stiftung as an international support platform for inventors and entrepreneurs.

The session by the foundation is an additional event at the Grameen Social Business Summit taking place in Mexico City on November 27th-28th, 2014.

Following the discussion, we kindly invite you to our networking reception at 6:00 pm. We would ask you to confirm your attendance here:

Please save the date. We will be sending you further information about the event in a personal invitation.

We look forward to welcoming you at the event in Mexico.

Yours sincerely,

Rolf Huber,

Managing Director of Siemens Stiftung
