What we should know about you

Questions answered by Philipp Otter, Deputy CEO & Project Coordinator
1. What was a turning point in your career as an entrepreneur / for your organization?

To understand that technology is not what counts to make a successful project. Without a sound business model and existing local infrastructures, not even the best technology will work in the long term.

2. What was a troubling time that you managed to overcome?

Originally the sales did not pick up as anticipated. The running costs of our company exceeded the generated income by far. This went on for several years. It is important to keep believing in your product and to stay motivated to overcome this period. Today we are still repaying the initial loans, but we are well able to manage that.

3. What is the best thing about being a member of empowering people. Network?

Meeting people with different business models and products but who face the same challenges. The exchange and discussion with epNetwork members often brings new solutions, possibilities, and, most importantly, motivation.
